Welcome to House of Shocks, a small-batch suspension shop built on passion, precision, and a lifelong obsession with off-road performance.

I’m JD — owner, operator, suspension nerd, and retired firefighter. After 20 years in the fire service, I traded the sirens for shocks, but I kept the same commitment to excellence, teamwork, and earning trust the right way.

At House of Shocks, I do things a little differently. This isn’t a high-volume production shop tucked behind a service counter — it’s a boutique garage in Colorado Springs, where every build gets the same care I’d give my own rig. I’m a Jeep JKUR owner myself, a Denver Nuggets fan, a husband, and a dad to three wild little humans.

When you drop off your shocks here, they don’t disappear into a pile of work orders. You get direct communication, before-and-after photos, and honest feedback about what your suspension really needs — no fluff, no upsell nonsense.

Whether you’re rebuilding factory Raptor shocks, tuning your King coilovers, or chasing the perfect ride on your daily driver, desert rig or overlander, my goal is simple:
